Job Description: We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Machinery Inspector to join our team in Victoria, Canada. As a Machinery Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of industrial machinery and heavy equipment. Your expertise in inspecting and assessing machinery will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive inspections of industrial machinery and heavy equipment to identify any defects, malfunctions, or safety hazards. Follow inspection procedures and checklists to assess equipment functionality, structural integrity, electrical systems, and overall condition. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, such as visual inspections, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, or radiographic testing. Analyze inspection findings and generate detailed reports, documenting observed issues, recommendations, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop and implement corrective actions and preventive maintenance plans based on inspection results. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to machinery inspection and maintenance.

Job Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certifications in machinery inspection, NDT, or related fields are preferred. Proven experience as a Machinery Inspector, preferably in the industrial machinery and heavy equipment industry. Strong knowledge of machinery components, systems, and safety standards. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications. Familiarity with NDT techniques and equipment. Attention to detail and excellent observation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments and tight spaces. Fluency in English is required.
