Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Brampton, Canada. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of industrial machinery and heavy equipment. Your responsibilities will include performing repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial machinery and heavy equipment based on maintenance schedules and manufacturer guidelines. Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and parts replacement, to prevent breakdowns and ensure equipment reliability. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment, identifying the root causes and implementing appropriate solutions in a timely manner. Repair Work: Conduct repairs on faulty components, systems, and machinery, utilizing hand and power tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Equipment Testing: Conduct tests and inspections to ensure proper equipment functionality and adherence to safety and quality standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory documentation as required. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when working with machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Team Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with the maintenance team, operators, and supervisors to address equipment issues, prioritize maintenance tasks, and ensure smooth workflow.

Job Requirement: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field are preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably working with industrial machinery and heavy equipment. Mechanical Skills: Solid mechanical aptitude and proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and heavy equipment. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems commonly found in industrial machinery. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently. Safety Consciousness: Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in performing maintenance tasks, inspecting equipment, and documenting maintenance activities accurately. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
