Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Associate to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As a Paint Associate, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and applying paint coatings to industrial machinery and heavy equipment. Your expertise in paint application and surface preparation will contribute to ensuring high-quality finishes and product durability. Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers or sealants as required. Mix and match paint colors and finishes according to specifications and customer requirements. Apply paint coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes. Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling paint and related chemicals. Maintain and clean painting equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and longevity. Inspect finished surfaces for defects, touch up as needed, and ensure paint quality meets standards. Collaborate with team members to prioritize painting assignments and meet production schedules.

Job Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional vocational training or certifications in painting or coatings is preferred. Proven experience as a Paint Associate or similar role, preferably in the industrial machinery and heavy equipment industry. Knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation methods. Familiarity with different paint systems, such as epoxy, enamel, or polyurethane. Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to achieve high-quality finishes. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage time effectively. Physical stamina and ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including standing, bending, and lifting. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to paint application and handling. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
