Job Description:
We are hiring an Agile Facilitator to support our development teams in Hamburg. In this role, you will champion Agile methodologies and foster a culture of collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with product owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams to facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure that Agile principles are effectively applied throughout the project lifecycle.
You will be responsible for organizing and leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and reviews. In addition, you will act as a coach to the teams, helping them enhance performance by identifying bottlenecks, promoting ownership, and guiding team members in Agile best practices.
Your role will also involve mediating between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project goals, priorities, and deliverables. You will be expected to proactively remove obstacles to team progress and facilitate clear, transparent communication. As a key part of our transformation initiative, you will play a strategic role in scaling Agile across departments and helping build a high-performing Agile culture.
Job Requirement:
The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) or SAFe Agile is required, along with a minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in facilitating Agile teams in a technology-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe is essential. You must have demonstrated experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and applying Agile metrics to monitor and improve team performance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
A strong ability to coach teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative team environment is crucial. Experience in digital transformation or large-scale Agile implementation is highly desirable. Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps is an added advantage.
You must possess a mindset geared toward learning, continuous improvement, and servant leadership. Being fluent in both English and German will be advantageous for team interactions and stakeholder engagement in the Hamburg office.
