Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives and cross-functional teams at our Frankfurt office. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Agile projects, from planning through execution, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
You will manage multiple Agile teams, coordinate sprints, define project scopes, allocate resources, and monitor progress through regular reports and stakeholder communication. Working closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters, you will help prioritize backlogs, eliminate roadblocks, and keep development efforts aligned with customer needs and organizational strategy.
As a bridge between technical execution and business goals, your responsibilities will include stakeholder management, risk assessment, and fostering a collaborative, transparent work environment. You will ensure teams follow Agile values and principles while tailoring practices to meet project-specific challenges. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about delivering results through Agile transformation.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years leading Agile projects, is essential. Certifications like PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist are strongly preferred.
You should have in-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, and a proven track record of successfully managing product development cycles in Agile environments. Experience working with tools like JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps is expected.
Strong leadership and team-building skills are crucial for mentoring teams, managing conflicts, and maintaining motivation across geographically dispersed units. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are essential for aligning expectations and delivering value.
You must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of German will be a significant asset in liaising with local teams and clients.
