Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Android Developer to join our Hamburg-based software team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining innovative mobile applications on the Android platform that provide excellent user experience and meet business goals.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and backend developers, to create responsive, high-performance applications. Your responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code using Kotlin and Java, conducting unit and integration testing, and fixing bugs to ensure app stability.
You will also stay updated with the latest Android technologies and trends, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices. Your work will play a key role in enhancing our mobile offerings and customer engagement.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years of professional experience in Android application development.
Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, as well as experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and RESTful APIs, is essential. Knowledge of version control systems like Git and experience working within Agile teams are also important.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members are required. Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and performance optimization techniques will be a plus.
Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in German is beneficial for effective communication within the Hamburg office.
