Job Description:

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team in Frankfurt am Main to design, develop, and maintain automated systems that improve production efficiency and quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions in manufacturing, IT processes, or business workflows.

Your role will involve analyzing current processes, identifying automation opportunities, and developing control systems using PLCs, SCADA, or scripting languages. You will be responsible for programming, testing, and troubleshooting automated machinery or software systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Additionally, you will collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to monitor system operations and implement improvements. You will also document technical specifications, maintain system updates, and support training efforts for end-users and operators.

Job Requirement:

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. A minimum of 4 years of experience in automation engineering or related fields is essential.

You should be proficient in PLC programming, industrial communication protocols, and automation software such as Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, or equivalent. Experience with robotics, process control, and system integration is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to diagnose issues and optimize automated processes. Good teamwork and communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of German will be considered an advantage for working in Frankfurt am Main.
