Job Description:
We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Officer to oversee and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards within our operations in Cologne. This role involves monitoring regulatory changes, developing internal policies, and conducting audits to ensure the organization remains compliant with industry standards and government requirements. You will act as the internal authority on compliance issues, supporting both leadership and operational teams.
Your core responsibilities include assessing risks, preparing compliance reports, coordinating with external regulators, and providing training to staff on relevant laws and practices. The officer will also be responsible for investigating any potential compliance breaches and implementing corrective measures where necessary.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must possess a degree in law, business administration, or a related field, with 4–6 years of professional experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the financial, healthcare, or technology sectors.
Knowledge of German and EU compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, AML, ISO standards) is essential. Attention to detail, strong ethics, and the ability to interpret complex regulations into actionable procedures are critical. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required; fluency in German is a significant advantage.
Certifications such as CCEP or CRCM will be viewed favorably.
