Job Description:
An experienced Advanced Scaffolder is required in Florence, Italy, to support complex scaffolding operations across agricultural and fishery sites. The role involves designing, erecting, altering, inspecting, and dismantling advanced scaffolding structures for use in the construction, maintenance, and repair of agricultural buildings, processing plants, storage units, irrigation systems, and aquaculture facilities.
The Advanced Scaffolder will be responsible for leading scaffold erection teams, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of structures in accordance with industry regulations and project specifications. This includes the use of advanced scaffolding systems such as cantilever, hanging, birdcage, and truss-out scaffolds. The role requires an understanding of weight distribution, load calculations, and anchoring systems to ensure all structures meet safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Erect and dismantle advanced scaffolding systems for agricultural and fishery infrastructure
Interpret complex technical drawings and site requirements
Supervise and coordinate scaffolders during assembly and disassembly tasks
Conduct safety checks and risk assessments before, during, and after scaffolding work
Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and project managers to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Advanced Scaffolder
Knowledge of complex scaffolding systems and safety regulations
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Physical stamina and attention to detail
Basic proficiency in Italian preferred
