We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Technician to join our team in Rome, Italy, supporting infrastructure projects within the Agriculture & Fisheries sector. This role primarily involves the operation and maintenance of asphalt paving equipment used in the construction of roads, pathways, and other essential structures within agricultural and fisheries facilities.
The Asphalt Paving Technician will be responsible for preparing and operating paving machines, ensuring that asphalt is evenly spread, compacted, and meets required specifications. The technician will also monitor the temperature and consistency of the asphalt mixture to ensure proper application. The role requires the technician to perform routine maintenance on the paving equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure the quality and safety of all paving operations.
Additionally, the technician will work closely with the project team to meet deadlines, provide updates on progress, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment are essential.
