Job Description:
The Bioinformatician Advisor in AI Ahmadi plays a strategic role in integrating computational methods with biological data to support research and product development. The role involves analyzing large-scale datasets from genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics studies, developing algorithms for data interpretation, and guiding scientific teams in experimental design. As an advisor, you will recommend best practices in bioinformatics, support data-driven decisions, and mentor junior bioinformaticians. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including molecular biologists, geneticists, and clinical researchers to translate data into actionable insights that accelerate innovation in diagnostics, therapeutics, and personalized medicine.
Job Requirement:
PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
8+ years of experience in bioinformatics with demonstrated leadership roles
Advanced knowledge of genomics, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and systems biology
Strong programming skills in R, Python, Perl, or Java
Expertise in databases such as Ensembl, NCBI, and UCSC Genome Browser
Experience in high-performance computing and data visualization
Ability to guide interdisciplinary teams and present complex data clearly
Familiarity with compliance, data privacy, and clinical data standards
