Job Description:
The Biomedical Scientist Consultant will offer expert guidance to laboratory teams on diagnostic methodologies, assay development, and biomedical innovations. Based in Hawally, the consultant will assess current laboratory protocols, propose improvements, and support validation studies for medical devices or tests. They may also work with healthcare institutions on implementing automated diagnostic tools and enhancing laboratory accuracy and efficiency.
Job Requirement:
PhD or advanced degree in Biomedical Science
8+ years of laboratory and consultancy experience in clinical diagnostics
Familiarity with hematology, immunology, and histopathology
Experience advising on ISO 15189 and clinical lab accreditation standards
Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation and LIS systems
Strong communication and project management skills
