Job Description:
As a Biotechnologist Specialist in Hawally, your primary role involves designing, executing, and optimizing experiments using living organisms or systems to develop innovative products or technologies. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop biopharmaceuticals, genetically modified organisms, and diagnostic tools. Your focus will include improving manufacturing processes, conducting molecular cloning, gene expression analysis, and fermentation techniques. This role also includes the assessment and application of biotechnological advancements to real-world industrial or medical challenges. Collaboration with regulatory and quality teams will be essential to ensure compliance with biosafety protocols and industry standards. You will also be expected to publish findings, attend conferences, and support junior researchers.
Job Requirement:
Master’s or PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline
5+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in biotechnology research or application
Strong proficiency in recombinant DNA technology, CRISPR-Cas9, protein purification, and cell culture
Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with biostatistics and laboratory information systems
Familiarity with GLP/GMP standards and biosafety regulations
Strong documentation and scientific reporting abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
