Job Description:
The Buy-Side Equity Analyst in Hawally is responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental research on publicly listed companies to support investment decisions for institutional portfolios such as mutual funds, pension funds, or hedge funds. Analysts evaluate financial statements, build valuation models, attend earnings calls, and meet with company management.
This role requires the ability to generate actionable investment recommendations, communicate findings to portfolio managers, and track industry trends across sectors. The focus is long-term value creation based on detailed financial and strategic assessments.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CFA designation preferred
3+ years of experience in equity research or investment analysis
Proficiency in modeling techniques including DCF, comparables, and scenario analysis
Strong writing and presentation skills
Ability to manage large datasets and use financial databases (Bloomberg, FactSet)
Sector specialization is often preferred (e.g., tech, healthcare, industrials)
