Job Description:

The Senior Investment Banking Associate in Qurain is a mid-to-senior-level position responsible for overseeing and managing complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising transactions, and financial advisory services. Working under a Vice President or Managing Director, this role entails providing strategic advice to corporate clients, conducting due diligence, performing financial modeling, and preparing pitch books and client presentations. The associate liaises with multiple stakeholders including lawyers, auditors, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.

The role demands the ability to interpret macroeconomic indicators, analyze industry trends, and translate financial data into actionable strategic recommendations. This associate may also contribute to origination activities by identifying potential deals, supporting client relationship management, and guiding junior analysts. Long hours, tight deadlines, and client-driven deliverables are standard aspects of the position.

Job Requirement:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)

  • Minimum 3–5 years of investment banking experience, preferably in a top-tier firm

  • Deep understanding of M&A, leveraged buyouts, IPOs, and debt/equity instruments

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint presentations

  • Strong valuation skills, including DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and comparables

  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Experience managing junior staff and leading deal execution workflows

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
