Job Description:
The Aviation Control Officer is responsible for monitoring and coordinating all air traffic activities within designated airspace or airport areas. This includes providing real-time instructions to pilots for safe takeoff, landing, and taxiing, as well as managing emergency communications and weather advisories. The role requires close coordination with airport operations, meteorological teams, and national aviation authorities. Attention to detail and situational awareness are essential to ensure safety and prevent flight delays or airspace conflicts.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or a related field
Certified Air Traffic Control training from an accredited institution
Strong verbal communication and decision-making skills
Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environments
Familiarity with radar and navigation systems
Fluent in English; ICAO Level 4 proficiency required
Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation or air traffic services
Flexibility for shift work, including nights and holidays
Strong coordination and problem-solving capabilities
