Job Description:
The Commercial Airline Captain is responsible for piloting commercial aircraft, ensuring the safety and efficiency of each flight. Duties include pre-flight planning, conducting inspections, managing crew communication, and operating the aircraft according to flight regulations and procedures. The captain makes critical decisions related to weather, air traffic, and emergency scenarios while maintaining coordination with air traffic control. Leadership is essential, as the captain directs the flight crew and ensures a high level of passenger safety and satisfaction.
Job Requirement:
Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) valid in Qatar
Minimum 5000 flight hours, including 1000 hours as Pilot in Command
Type rating on aircraft operated by the airline
Excellent knowledge of aviation safety regulations and procedures
Strong leadership and crew management skills
Medical fitness as per aviation authority standards
Fluency in English with ICAO Level 4 or higher
Ability to work irregular hours, including nights and long-haul flights
No history of aviation violations or license suspensions
Strong decision-making and communication abilities
