Key responsibilities include safely operating pneumatic tire rollers to achieve the specified surface density and smoothness on pavements and roadways. You will coordinate with paving crews to ensure uniform compaction, monitor equipment performance, and adjust rolling patterns as necessary. Additionally, you will conduct pre-operation inspections, carry out routine maintenance, and ensure the roller is functioning optimally throughout the project. Close adherence to safety protocols and communication with the site team are critical components of the job.
