Key responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining asphalt paving machines to ensure the smooth and efficient laying of asphalt. You will monitor and adjust the equipment to ensure proper asphalt thickness, alignment, and compaction. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the asphalt mix is applied correctly and meets the required quality standards. Routine inspections of equipment, performing minor repairs and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures will be essential parts of the role. Coordination with other team members and project supervisors to ensure the job is completed on time and according to specifications is also vital.
