Job Description:
We are hiring a Digital Meter Recording Technician to join our smart metering team in Valencia. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate collection, verification, and recording of digital utility meter data for electricity, water, or gas consumption. You will troubleshoot and resolve meter reading issues, ensure data integrity during transmission, and assist in the installation and testing of digital meters as part of the system upgrade projects.
Your daily responsibilities include inspecting digital meters, identifying faults or discrepancies, and collaborating with field technicians and IT teams to maintain a reliable metering system. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting customer inquiries regarding meter data will also be part of your role.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have a technical diploma or certification in electrical, instrumentation, or information technology fields. Experience with digital metering systems, data analytics tools, and basic networking concepts is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in the field or the office are essential. Good communication skills and a commitment to following safety and data privacy regulations are required.
