Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous Drilling Data Technician to join our drilling operations team in Granada. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing drilling data to ensure accurate and timely reporting of drilling activities.
You will work closely with drilling engineers and geologists to maintain data integrity from rig sensors, loggers, and other instrumentation. Your efforts will help optimize drilling performance, identify anomalies, and support decision-making on the rig and at the control center.
This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and an interest in combining fieldwork with data analytics in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must have a diploma or degree in Petroleum Engineering, Data Science, or related technical fields. Prior experience in drilling operations or data management within the oil and gas sector is highly preferred.
Familiarity with drilling data acquisition systems, databases, and software such as WellView or Landmark is essential. You should possess strong computer skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Good communication skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines are important. Flexibility for shift work and occasional travel to drilling sites may be required.
