Job Description: Agri-Tech Project Engineer – Geneva (Agriculture & Fisheries Industry)

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Agri-Tech Project Engineer to join our agricultural technology initiatives in Geneva, within the Agriculture & Fisheries industry. This role focuses on the development, implementation, and management of advanced agricultural technologies aimed at improving productivity, sustainability, and efficiency in crop and livestock farming.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing projects involving smart farming systems, precision agriculture tools, sensor networks, and automation solutions. Key duties include collaborating with cross-functional teams (farmers, agronomists, IT specialists), conducting field trials, analyzing data, and optimizing technological solutions to meet agricultural needs.

Applicants should have a strong background in agricultural engineering, mechatronics, or related fields, with a passion for applying modern technologies to real-world farming challenges. Experience in IoT systems, drone technology, data analytics, or environmental monitoring tools is highly desirable.

Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in French is required; English or German is an advantage. A valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship is mandatory.
