We are seeking a skilled and dependable Agricultural Machinery Operator to join our agricultural operations team in Zurich. The ideal candidate will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of farming equipment including tractors, harvesters, planters, and irrigation systems. Responsibilities include assisting with soil preparation, planting, fertilizing, crop monitoring, and harvesting while ensuring all machinery is used efficiently and safely in accordance with Swiss agricultural standards.
The role requires familiarity with GPS-guided machinery and precision farming technologies to improve productivity and sustainability. The operator will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance and reporting equipment issues promptly. A strong understanding of seasonal farming activities, weather impact, and fieldwork logistics is essential.
Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude toward health, safety, and environmental practices. Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons is expected.
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating agricultural machinery
Valid driving license (tractor license preferred)
