We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-driven Agricultural Surveyor to join our team in Bern. This role is central to supporting sustainable land use and agricultural planning by providing accurate measurements, maps, and data on farmlands, pastures, and aquaculture sites.
The Agricultural Surveyor will be responsible for conducting land and resource surveys, analyzing topography, soil profiles, and land capability, and preparing technical drawings and documentation for use in agricultural development, irrigation planning, and environmental conservation. The role involves working closely with farmers, landowners, agronomists, and government agencies to assess land potential and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include using advanced surveying tools such as GPS, total stations, drones, and GIS software to collect and process spatial data. The surveyor will also assist in planning land improvements, managing boundaries, and providing input for agricultural infrastructure projects such as irrigation networks and drainage systems.
