Job Description:
The AI Chat Assistant Designer in Al Ain is responsible for architecting, developing, and refining the functionality and personality of AI-powered virtual assistants. This role combines UX design, machine learning insights, and natural language processing expertise to build intelligent, conversational agents that provide users with responsive and helpful interactions. The designer collaborates with data scientists, engineers, support managers, and product owners to define intents, design dialogue flows, and fine-tune models for accuracy and user satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include drafting chatbot personas, scripting conversation patterns, integrating multilingual content, and continuously training the bot using feedback loops, real-world queries, and conversational analytics. The AI Chat Assistant Designer also manages integration with live agent escalation systems, tracks KPIs such as resolution rate and user satisfaction, and optimizes performance through iteration and A/B testing. The role demands a mix of creativity and technical understanding to ensure the virtual assistant mirrors human tone, responds intelligently, and operates seamlessly across web, mobile, and voice platforms.
In a fast-paced tech environment, the designer plays a strategic role in improving customer engagement, driving automation, and supporting scalable customer service solutions across the organization.
Job Requirement:
Applicants should hold a degree in artificial intelligence, computational linguistics, human-computer interaction, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of experience in chatbot design, conversational AI, or NLU-based applications. Proficiency in platforms like IBM Watson, Rasa, Dialogflow, or Microsoft Bot Framework is required. Experience with intent modeling, training data creation, and using NLP tools is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, conversational copywriting skills, and the ability to align bot behavior with business goals and brand voice. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred for regional alignment.
