Job Description: Summary: The Biomedical Engineer in the science and pharmaceutical industry is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining biomedical equipment and systems used in healthcare and research settings. They play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medical devices, supporting research and development activities, and providing technical expertise to improve healthcare outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test biomedical equipment, devices, and systems to meet specific healthcare and research needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical professionals, researchers, and scientists, to understand requirements and develop innovative solutions. Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging technologies and trends in the biomedical field. Evaluate and select appropriate biomedical equipment and technologies for use in healthcare facilities or research laboratories. Install, calibrate, and maintain biomedical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of medical devices and equipment. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and adhere to regulatory guidelines for the design, development, and use of biomedical devices. Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks associated with biomedical equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with biomedical equipment, collaborating with manufacturers and vendors as needed. Stay updated with advancements in biomedical engineering, attend conferences, and participate in professional development activities.

Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field. Previous experience working as a Biomedical Engineer in the science and pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector. Strong knowledge of biomedical engineering principles, medical device regulations, and quality standards. Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for design and development purposes. Familiarity with healthcare processes, patient safety, and clinical environments. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and standards, such as FDA, ISO, or local regulations. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in the field of biomedical engineering.
