Job Description: Summary: The Hospital Pharmacist in the science and pharmaceutical industry is responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication management within a hospital setting. They work closely with healthcare professionals and patients to provide appropriate pharmaceutical care, dispense medications, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications and provide accurate dosage instructions to patients based on prescriptions and medical orders. Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions or allergies. Prepare and compound specialized medications, such as intravenous (IV) solutions and sterile preparations, following aseptic techniques. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy, provide drug information, and monitor patient outcomes. Conduct patient medication counseling, including proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions. Monitor and assess patient response to medication therapy, adjusting dosages as necessary and making recommendations for therapeutic alternatives. Maintain accurate patient medication records, including medication histories, allergies, and drug interactions. Participate in medication-related quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications and supplies. Provide drug information and participate in medication education and training programs for healthcare professionals and patients.

Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Valid professional license or registration to practice as a Pharmacist in Dubai, UAE. Previous experience working as a Pharmacist in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding techniques and aseptic procedures. Familiarity with medication therapy management and medication safety practices. Strong understanding of pharmacokinetics, drug interactions, and adverse drug reactions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients. Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining patient records. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently. Proficiency in pharmacy software systems for medication order processing and inventory management. Knowledge of local pharmacy regulations and compliance standards. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with advances in pharmaceutical sciences and healthcare.
