Job Description: Summary: The Biomedical Scientist in the science and pharmaceutical industry is responsible for conducting laboratory-based investigations and analyses to support research, development, and quality control activities. They play a crucial role in studying biological samples, performing diagnostic tests, and interpreting results to contribute to advancements in healthcare and pharmaceutical development. Key Responsibilities: Plan and conduct laboratory experiments and investigations using a range of techniques and equipment. Collect and analyze biological samples, such as blood, tissue, or fluids, to study disease processes and evaluate treatment efficacy. Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases. Develop and validate analytical methods and protocols for sample analysis. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines in all laboratory processes. Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and observations in laboratory notebooks or computer systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, physicians, and scientists, to contribute to research projects and clinical trials. Participate in data analysis and contribute to the interpretation and presentation of research findings. Stay updated with advancements in biomedical science, attend conferences, and participate in continuing education activities. Comply with laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized working environment.

Job Requirement: Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in Biomedical Science or a related field. Previous experience working as a Biomedical Scientist in the science and pharmaceutical industry or a healthcare setting. Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including microscopy, cell culture, molecular biology, and biochemical assays. Knowledge of disease mechanisms, diagnostic techniques, and therapeutic interventions. Familiarity with laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and quality control processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret experimental results and troubleshoot issues. Attention to detail and accuracy in performing laboratory experiments and recording data. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and present findings. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic research environment. Knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and ethical considerations in biomedical research. Flexibility to adapt to changing research priorities and deadlines.
