Job Description:

The Analytical Laboratory Technician in Dubai will be responsible for performing precise analytical testing on samples to ensure the integrity, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical or chemical products. Working under the supervision of senior analysts or laboratory managers, the technician will handle sample preparation, operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV spectrophotometers, and maintain detailed documentation of test procedures and results.

Duties also include weighing and dissolving substances, preparing standard solutions, cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, and logging results into laboratory information systems. The technician will assist in routine and non-routine analyses, participate in equipment qualification and calibration, and support investigations of out-of-specification results. The role requires adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety guidelines, and stringent quality assurance protocols.

The technician will also be expected to assist in inventory management of lab supplies and reagents, support audit readiness efforts, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the laboratory by maintaining cleanliness, order, and documentation integrity.

Job Requirement:

A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Laboratory Technology is required, with 1–3 years of experience in an analytical lab setting. Hands-on experience with chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques is necessary. Knowledge of lab safety practices, SOP compliance, and basic understanding of GMP/GLP is essential. Good communication, time management, and attention to detail are key competencies.
