Job Description:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential healthcare support to patients in home care or clinical settings in Ajman. The role involves assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and personal hygiene. CNAs play a critical role in monitoring patients’ health by checking vital signs, observing physical and emotional conditions, and reporting any changes to nursing or medical staff. They provide companionship and emotional support, helping to improve patients’ quality of life. CNAs also assist with medical equipment setup, wound care under supervision, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the patient’s environment. Maintaining detailed records of care provided and adhering to healthcare protocols and infection control standards is crucial. The role requires compassion, patience, and strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Flexibility to work various shifts and provide care during emergencies or special needs is often necessary. CNAs must be physically capable of assisting patients with mobility and other physical tasks. The position demands professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical standards in patient care.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must hold a valid CNA certification and have experience providing direct patient care, preferably in home or clinical environments. Knowledge of basic medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and patient care procedures is required. Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. The candidate must be physically fit to assist patients with mobility and personal care. Good communication skills in English are necessary; additional language skills are a plus. The ability to follow healthcare protocols, maintain confidentiality, and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, is important.
