The Domestic Maid is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of a private household. This role encompasses a wide range of housekeeping duties aimed at ensuring a hygienic and comfortable living environment for the residents. Primary responsibilities include dusting and cleaning surfaces, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, making beds, doing laundry, ironing clothes, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens. The maid may also be tasked with organizing wardrobes, pantries, and storage areas, as well as handling garbage disposal and light grocery shopping or errand-running. In households with children or elderly members, occasional assistance with caregiving tasks may be required under supervision. Use of household cleaning equipment and products must be done safely and responsibly. The maid is also expected to notify the employer of any damages, maintenance issues, or inventory shortages.
