Job Description:
The Nanny/Childcare Provider is responsible for the comprehensive care and supervision of children within a private household. This role includes ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental needs of children from infancy through school age. Duties involve preparing nutritious meals and snacks, assisting with personal hygiene and dressing, organizing educational and recreational activities, and helping with homework or school projects as needed. The nanny fosters a nurturing environment that supports emotional and social growth, encourages positive behavior, and provides comfort and companionship. Daily routines often include outings to parks, playdates, or extracurricular activities, requiring reliable transportation and time management. The childcare provider must be attentive to the child's health, administer basic first aid if necessary, and communicate regularly with parents regarding progress or concerns. Flexibility in work hours and a willingness to assist with light household chores related to the children are also part of the role. The nanny should maintain confidentiality, demonstrate patience, and adapt to the family’s parenting style. This position requires someone compassionate, responsible, and proactive in creating a safe and stimulating environment tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Job Requirement:
Applicants should have prior experience in childcare, preferably with references from previous families or childcare centers. Formal education or certification in early childhood development or first aid is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates must be patient, trustworthy, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Good communication skills in English or Arabic are preferred for effective interaction with both children and parents. Flexibility in work hours and the ability to handle emergencies calmly are important. A clean background check and a genuine love for children are essential prerequisites.
