Job Description: The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various events and functions in the food and beverage industry. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage all aspects of event operations. The Event Manager plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional experiences to guests and ensuring the successful execution of events. Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of events, including logistics, staffing, budgeting, and timelines. Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, objectives, and preferences. Coordinate with internal teams, including culinary, service, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution. Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for event-related services, such as catering, decor, and entertainment. Develop detailed event proposals, budgets, and timelines, ensuring they align with client expectations and company standards. Monitor and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and making adjustments as necessary. Oversee event setup, including venue arrangements, decor, seating, audiovisual equipment, and other necessary items. Manage event staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, to ensure efficient and professional event operations. Provide on-site event management, overseeing all aspects of the event and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Evaluate event success, gather feedback from clients and guests, and make recommendations for future improvements.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams effectively. Leadership and team management skills to coordinate and motivate event staff. Attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs and potential challenges in event planning and execution. Knowledge of event management principles, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor management. Proficiency in using event management software and other relevant tools. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules. Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor. Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.
