Job Description: The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events and functions in the food and beverage industry. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful events. The Event Coordinator plays a key role in delivering exceptional experiences to guests and creating memorable occasions. Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, objectives, and preferences. Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, decor, entertainment, and logistics. Create event timelines, budgets, and proposals, ensuring that they align with client expectations and company standards. Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure the necessary resources for the event. Coordinate with internal teams, such as culinary, service, and operations, to ensure smooth event execution. Manage event registration, guest lists, and attendee communications, ensuring accurate and timely information. Oversee event setup, including decorations, seating arrangements, audiovisual equipment, and other necessary items. Monitor event progress and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, ensuring seamless event operations. Provide on-site event management, including coordination of staff, vendors, and activities. Evaluate event success, gather feedback from clients and guests, and make recommendations for future improvements.
Job Requirement: Requirements: Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams effectively. Attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs and potential challenges in event planning and execution. Creativity and ability to develop innovative event concepts and themes that align with client preferences. Knowledge of event management principles, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor management. Proficiency in using event management software and other relevant tools. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules. Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor. Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.
