Job Description:
The Banquet Coordinator in Dubai is responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of all banquet events within hotels, conference centers, or event venues. This role ensures that events run smoothly, meet client expectations, and adhere to the highest standards of service. The Banquet Coordinator collaborates closely with clients, sales teams, culinary departments, and event staff to coordinate logistics such as room setup, menu selections, audio-visual requirements, and staffing. They manage event timelines, coordinate deliveries, and troubleshoot any issues that arise before, during, and after events. The coordinator is also responsible for inspecting banquet areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety and hygiene standards. This role demands strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members, ensuring a seamless and memorable event experience. The Banquet Coordinator maintains detailed records of event specifications, attendance, and client feedback for continuous improvement. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask under pressure are essential. Job Requirement:
Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field with 2–4 years of experience in banquet or event coordination. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous. Experience working with event management software and a client-focused approach are highly valued.
