Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and experienced Artisan Baker to join our boutique bakery in Dubai. The Artisan Baker will be responsible for preparing hand-crafted breads, pastries, and baked goods using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients. The role involves dough preparation, fermentation, shaping, proofing, and baking of a variety of items such as sourdough, brioche, baguettes, croissants, and specialty loaves. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of baking techniques, fermentation science, and flavor development. They must also ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance, while maintaining strict hygiene and cleanliness standards. The baker will work with minimal preservatives and embrace artisanal methods of baking. Responsibilities include maintaining ingredient inventory, managing ovens and baking schedules, and innovating new recipes in coordination with the culinary team. The position demands early morning shifts, attention to detail, and a passion for crafting exceptional baked goods in a high-end bakery environment.
Job Requirement:
Applicants should have formal baking or culinary training and 2–5 years of experience in artisan or boutique bakery environments. A strong knowledge of fermentation, proofing, and baking techniques is essential. Candidates must demonstrate creativity, precision, and familiarity with both traditional and modern baking tools. The role requires excellent time management, physical stamina, and the ability to work early morning shifts in a clean, high-paced setting.
