Job Description: The Food & Beverages Service role involves serving customers in a restaurant, café, hotel, or any food service establishment. The primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires good communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome customers, present menus, and provide recommendations on food and beverage options. Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS (Point of Sale) system for processing. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to presentation standards. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, resolving them promptly and professionally. Ensure tables are properly set and clean before seating customers, and promptly clear and clean tables after customers leave. Maintain a clean and organized work station, including utensils, glassware, and equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation. Upsell and promote additional food and beverage items to customers, maximizing sales opportunities. Follow all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures. Work as part of a team, assisting colleagues when needed and supporting a smooth service flow.

Job Requirement: Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food and beverage service or customer service is preferred but not always required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills. Knowledge of food and beverage items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and menu specials. Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/move heavy trays or equipment when necessary. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as per operational requirements. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a customer-focused mindset. Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
