As an Analytical Chemist in the Engineering & Architecture industry, you will play a crucial role in performing a wide range of analytical tests and experiments to support research and development activities. Responsibilities: Conduct various analytical tests using techniques such as HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and chromatography. Develop and validate analytical methods for the analysis of samples. Troubleshoot and maintain analytical instruments to ensure accurate and reliable results. Analyze and interpret data, and prepare comprehensive reports summarizing findings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide analytical support for research and development projects. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory standards. Participate in quality control and assurance processes to maintain accuracy and reliability of analytical data. Stay updated on emerging analytical techniques and technologies in the field. Contribute to the optimization and improvement of laboratory processes.
Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field is required. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Analytical Chemist, preferably in the Engineering & Architecture industry. Strong knowledge and expertise in analytical techniques, such as HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and chromatography. Experience in method development, validation, and troubleshooting of analytical instruments and techniques. Proficiency in using analytical software and data analysis tools. Familiarity with quality control and assurance processes in an analytical laboratory setting. Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and adherence to regulatory standards. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in conducting experiments and recording data. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams. Ability to analyze complex data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive reports. Familiarity with environmental analysis, materials testing, or related fields is desirable. Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
