Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Victoria, Canada. As a Junior Electrical Engineer in the field of Engineering & Architecture, you will work alongside a team of experienced professionals, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems. Collaborate with senior engineers to create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications. Conduct electrical calculations and simulations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Participate in the testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems, identifying and resolving issues as they arise. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and material specifications. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in electrical engineering. Contribute to project documentation, including reports, drawings, and technical documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. 1-2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the Engineering & Architecture industry. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards. Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar programs. Solid understanding of power distribution, lighting, and control systems. Familiarity with electrical calculations and simulations to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues. Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients. Self-motivated and able to work independently under guidance from senior engineers. A strong willingness to learn and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in electrical engineering. Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
