Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to join our team in the Engineering & Architecture industry. As an Interior Design Assistant, you will provide vital support to our interior design team in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for our clients. Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior designers to develop design concepts and space planning solutions. Assist in the selection of materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes for interior projects. Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Conduct research on design trends, materials, and suppliers to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments. Assist in project management tasks, including coordinating with contractors and vendors, tracking project schedules, and managing documentation. Support the team in preparing project proposals, budgets, and client presentations. Maintain a library of samples, catalogs, and reference materials for design inspiration.

Job Requirement: Diploma or degree in Interior Design or a related field. Proven experience as an Interior Design Assistant or similar role is preferred. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit. Excellent knowledge of design principles, materials, finishes, and furniture. Strong visual and spatial awareness with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail. Good understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to effectively work with the design team, clients, and contractors. Creativity and ability to generate innovative design concepts and solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements. Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to work in Brampton.
