Job Description: As an Automotive Technician, your main responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of vehicles. You will use your technical expertise and knowledge of automotive systems to troubleshoot issues, perform inspections, and provide accurate repair recommendations to customers. Your role will involve conducting tests, utilizing diagnostic equipment, and efficiently repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic components. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while maintaining detailed records of all services performed. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential for success in this role.

Job Requirement: Completion of a recognized Automotive Service Technician program or equivalent apprenticeship training. Relevant certification such as a Red Seal or Journeyman Automotive Technician is preferred. Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, including knowledge of vehicle diagnostic and repair procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools. Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical/electronic components. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Familiarity with automotive industry regulations and safety standards. Effective communication skills to interact with customers and explain technical issues in a clear and understandable manner. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical fitness and manual dexterity to handle various tools and equipment.
