Job Description:
The Clothing Closure Technician in Montreal specializes in installing and securing garment closures such as buttons, hooks, snaps, Velcro, and other fastening systems. This role is vital to ensuring apparel functionality, comfort, and durability, making it an important stage in the garment finishing process. Working within a textile production facility, the technician prepares garment sections, aligns closure placements according to design specifications, and uses both manual tools and specialized machines to attach closures accurately.
Key duties include measuring and marking closure positions, attaching closures with precision, testing for strength and alignment, and correcting any placement errors. The technician also ensures that closures blend aesthetically with the garment design, contributing to the overall look and quality. Routine equipment checks, basic machine maintenance, and assisting quality inspectors with final product evaluation are part of daily responsibilities. Collaboration with sewing machine operators, garment finishers, and pattern cutters ensures smooth production flow.

Job Requirement:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in garment manufacturing is preferred.
