Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Surrey, Canada. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will provide support to the HR department and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the organization's human resources processes and initiatives. Your role will involve assisting with various administrative tasks, employee relations, recruitment, and maintaining HR records and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scheduling interviews, preparing reports, and maintaining HR databases. Employee Relations: Respond to employee inquiries and provide information regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs. Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Recruitment Assistance: Assist in sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the hiring process. Maintain applicant tracking systems and assist in drafting job postings. HR Documentation: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of employee records, including personnel files, benefits enrollment, and performance evaluations. Compliance: Assist with ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, including updating policies and procedures as necessary. Training and Development: Support HR training initiatives by coordinating training sessions, tracking attendance, and organizing training materials. HR Projects: Assist with HR projects, such as employee engagement surveys, performance management, and wellness programs. Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Job Requirement: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional HR certifications or relevant education is a plus. Experience: Prior experience in an administrative or HR assistant role is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level positions. Knowledge: Familiarity with HR processes, recruitment practices, and employment laws. Proficiency in using HRIS software and MS Office Suite. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Organization and Attention to Detail: Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, and maintain accurate records. Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
