Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team in Halifax, Canada. As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the overall success of our organization. You will lead a team of HR professionals and be responsible for managing all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, ensuring they support the overall business strategy. Employee Relations: Oversee employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, to promote a positive and productive work environment. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and selection process, working closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and implement effective sourcing strategies. Conduct interviews and make recommendations for hiring decisions. Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in performance-related matters. Training and Development: Identify training needs, design and deliver training programs, and promote continuous learning and development opportunities for employees at all levels. HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including updating policies and procedures as necessary. Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry best practices. HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, employee data management, and HRIS maintenance. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR records and data. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support in their day-to-day activities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Job Requirement: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP) are highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations is essential. Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite. Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and people management skills to effectively lead and motivate a team. Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization. Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and external stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex HR issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
