Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Manager to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. As a Recruitment Manager, you will lead the recruitment function, overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, implementing effective strategies, and ensuring the acquisition of top talent for our organization. Your role will involve managing a team of recruiters, collaborating with hiring managers, and developing innovative recruitment initiatives to attract and retain high-quality candidates. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement recruitment strategies and initiatives to attract and hire top talent. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with organizational goals. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of recruiters, providing guidance, mentoring, and support. Assign and prioritize recruitment activities, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative and high-performing recruitment team. Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing channels, including online platforms, job boards, social media, and professional networks, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. Stay updated on recruitment trends and leverage innovative sourcing techniques. Candidate Assessment: Oversee candidate assessment and selection processes, ensuring effective screening, interviewing, and evaluation methods are in place. Collaborate with hiring managers to assess candidate fit and make informed hiring decisions. Employer Branding: Develop and promote our employer brand to attract and engage top talent. Partner with marketing and communication teams to create compelling employer branding materials and enhance our organization's reputation as an employer of choice. Recruitment Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the recruitment process, implementing best practices, streamlining workflows, and utilizing recruitment technology and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, professional organizations, and other talent sources. Attend career fairs and industry events to promote our organization and expand recruitment networks. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and analyze recruitment metrics and data to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and provide insights to drive recruitment strategies and decision-making.

Job Requirement: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in recruitment and talent acquisition are advantageous. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, talent sourcing, and team management. Recruitment Knowledge: Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, techniques, and best practices. Familiarity with recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and HRIS. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, set clear goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish rapport with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners. Strong negotiation and influencing abilities. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey recruitment strategies, engage candidates, and present information to stakeholders. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess recruitment metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment. Flexibility to adapt recruitment strategies to align with evolving organizational needs and market trends.
