Job Description:
We are hiring a talented and detail-oriented 3D Game Modeler to join our game development studio in Frankfurt am Main. This position is ideal for an artist with a passion for bringing digital worlds to life through immersive character, environment, and asset modeling. You will work closely with concept artists, animators, and technical directors to deliver high-quality 3D assets for AAA and indie titles alike.
Your core responsibilities will include creating optimized, textured, and game-ready models using industry-standard pipelines. You’ll be expected to interpret 2D concepts into fully realized 3D assets, while adhering to technical constraints and style guides. Projects span realistic and stylized genres, offering the chance to work across diverse game environments and platforms.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have a degree in Game Art, 3D Animation, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in the game development industry. Proficiency in tools such as Blender, Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter is required. Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity and asset optimization for performance is essential.
A strong portfolio demonstrating hard-surface and organic modeling, UV mapping, and PBR texturing is a must. Team collaboration skills and time management are crucial. Fluency in English is mandatory, and German is an asset for local collaboration.
