Job Description:
We are looking for an Animation Storyboard Specialist to bring scripts and concepts to life through expressive, dynamic storyboard sequences. You will help shape the narrative flow of animated films, series, and short-form content by visualizing scenes, shot angles, character actions, and transitions.
Working closely with directors, animators, and editors, you will translate scripts into thumbnail sketches, animatics, and timing cues. You’ll be responsible for maintaining consistency in style and composition while refining pacing and emotional beats of the animation.
This role plays a key part in pre-production and requires a deep understanding of animation principles and visual storytelling.
Job Requirement:
A degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or Film is preferred, with 3–6 years of professional experience in animation pre-production or storyboarding.
Proficiency in Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, or similar digital tools is required. Strong draftsmanship, character expression, and camera angle skills are essential. Experience working in 2D/3D animation pipelines and knowledge of animation timing and continuity is expected. A portfolio or reel showcasing storytelling ability is mandatory.
