Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Architectural Lighting Designer to conceptualize and implement creative lighting solutions for commercial, residential, and public spaces. Your role will focus on enhancing architectural features, user comfort, and spatial atmosphere through thoughtful illumination design. You’ll work on projects ranging from urban plazas and museums to corporate offices and hospitality interiors.

Responsibilities include developing lighting concepts, creating detailed lighting plans, specifying fixtures and controls, and coordinating with architects, electrical engineers, and interior designers. You will also be involved in site visits, mockups, and final commissioning to ensure that lighting aligns with project intent and building standards.

The ideal candidate should balance creativity and technical knowledge, delivering sustainable and aesthetically striking lighting solutions that adhere to energy efficiency norms and client expectations.

Job Requirement:

A degree in Architectural Lighting, Architecture, or Interior Design with 4–7 years of hands-on experience in lighting design is required.

Proficiency in lighting software such as Dialux, Relux, and AutoCAD is essential. Knowledge of lighting physics, photometrics, fixture types, and control systems is crucial. Experience working with LEED or WELL certification standards is a plus. Strong presentation skills, attention to detail, and an ability to translate design briefs into practical lighting plans are vital. A portfolio showcasing both conceptual and built projects is expected.
