Job Description:
We are hiring an Automation Control Engineer in Hamburg to design, implement, and optimize industrial automation systems for manufacturing and process operations. Your role will involve programming PLCs, configuring distributed control systems (DCS), and integrating HMIs to automate production workflows. You will work closely with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless coordination and efficiency between equipment modules.
As part of continuous improvement initiatives, you will analyze process performance, propose automation upgrades, and support system commissioning and validation. You’ll participate in root-cause investigations and ensure that control systems meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation.
Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider), SCADA/HMI systems, and industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Modbus) is essential. Experience with motion control, PID tuning, and safety PLCs is highly valued.
You must demonstrate strong troubleshooting, documentation, and team collaboration skills. Familiarity with validation protocols and compliance in regulated industries is a plus.
