Job Description:
We are looking for a Biological Researcher in Cologne to support molecular biology, biotechnology, or environmental science projects with a focus on research, experimentation, and lab-based innovation. You will assist in study design, biological data collection, and sample analysis, and you may also help write research papers and grant proposals.
This role supports R&D in biotech, pharma, or ecological monitoring fields. You will work in a controlled lab environment, collaborate with scientists and technicians, and apply biology-based insights to solve industry challenges.
Job Requirement:
A degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biotech, or Life Sciences is essential, with 2–4 years of experience in a laboratory research setting.
Hands-on experience with PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA extraction, microscopy, or cell culture is required. Knowledge of lab safety protocols, documentation standards, and data analysis software such as GraphPad or BioNumerics is valuable.
Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of adhering to strict quality and ethical standards in biological research. Experience with ISO 17025 or GLP standards is preferred.
